“on/off” is an interactive installation dealing with the simplest (banal) daily procedures, like switching on and off electric appliances. it reflects and smiles about the monotony of these activities. by using a sensor that triggers the spectators movement, the projected video changes it’s state from off to on and vice versa, just like a simple switch.
Technical Description
The installation consists of a single space with video projection and a sensor that triggers the motion of the viewer and modifies the projection itself.

This is a collaborative project with Michael Zitzmann and was exhibited in June 2006 at Margarita Blue, Barcelona.
