Dieses Mal ist Sebastian Gramss geladen. Der Komponist und Kontrabassist ist im LOFT wohlbekannt und hat mit Dietmar schon in unterschiedlichsten Kombinationen zusammengespielt: vom Duo bis zu Sebastians Großensemble HARD BOILED WONDERLAND – letzteres bei der Verleihung des Deutschen Jazzpreises kürzlich erst ausgezeichnet mit dem Sonderpreis der Jury 2022.
Auch die freie Improvisation bildet einen gewichtigen Teil seiner Musik – fast selbstverständlich als Erbe von Peter Kowalds Instrument.

This time Sebastian Gramss is invited. The composer and double bass player is well known in the LOFT and has already played together with Dietmar in various combinations: from duo to Sebastian’s large ensemble HARD BOILED WONDERLAND – the latter was recently awarded the Special Prize of the Jury 2022 at the German Jazz Award ceremony.
Free improvisation also forms a weighty part of his music – almost naturally as a legacy of Peter Kowald’s instrument.
