Idiocracy (government by foolish people)

In Anbetracht der aktuellen politischen Weltlage ist es meines Erachtens angebracht und wichtig, den Wahnsinn, der zur Zeit herrscht, künstlerisch zu thematisieren.
In dem neuen Stück für Fo[u]r Alto werden Sprachmelodien verschiedenster Politiker:innen, die das momentane politische Chaos mit gestalten bzw. versuchen es zu verhindern (sofern man Ihnen Glauben schenken darf) gegeneinander gestellt bzw. ineinander verschachtelt.
Die Wirtschaft scheint immer wichtiger zu sein als die Umwelt und soziales Verhalten. Ausländerfeindlichkeit nimmt wieder zu, die Grenzen schließen sich und die Geschichte droht sich zu wiederholen. Neben den Sprachmelodien, sollen Emotionen wie Wut, Trauer, Hoffnung, sowie musikalische Transkriptionen und Spektralanalysen aus Natur und Stadt zum Einsatz kommen.
Die Wichtigkeit des „Hinschauens“ auf die aktuelle Entwicklung, sowie eine Position einzunehmen und diese nach außen zu tragen, soll mit dieser neuen Komposition thematisiert werden

Idiocracy (government by foolish people)
In view of the current political situation in the world, I think it is appropriate and important to artistically address the madness that currently prevails.
In the new piece for Fo[u]r Alto, the speech melodies of various politicians who are helping to shape the current political chaos or are trying to prevent it (if you can believe them) are juxtaposed or intertwined.
The economy always seems to be more important than the environment and social behavior. Xenophobia is on the rise again, borders are closing and history threatens to repeat itself. In addition to speech melodies, emotions such as anger, sadness, hope, as well as musical transcriptions and spectral analyses from nature and the city will be used.
The importance of “looking” at current developments, as well as taking a position and communicating this to the outside world, is to be thematized with this new composition.
