In den Köpfen und Herzen schwebt der Geist Theo Jörgensmanns, der für Maurer, Dell, Ramond und Kugel ein guter Freund, ein langjähriger Weggefährte und durchaus auch ein geistiger Vater war. Ihre Reaktionsmuster, die Schnelligkeit ihrer Kommunikation und der Umgang mit dem musikalischen Raum sind von Theo geprägt. Seine Spielerfahrung und seine positive Einstellung haben die vier Spieler dieses Abends geprägt und inspiriert. Dieses Konzert ist eine Hommage an Theo Jörgensmann, einen der eigenständigsten Musiker des Jazz.

Diese Musik möchte nichts, kein Territorium besetzen und auch keinen Markt erobern. Sie ist ein Wunderland an Wandlungen auf engstem Raum.

„Das gegenseitige Zuhören und dann das Eintauchen in den Gruppenklang spinnt die Musik, die manchmal nur an einem seidenen Faden zu hängen scheint, auf magische Weise weiter. Entscheidungen, in welche Richtung es gehen soll, werden in Bruchteilen einer Sekunde getroffen. Übrig bleibt oft nur die feinstoffliche Energie einer homöopathischen Essenz. Die Konzerte im LOFT beginnen in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr – das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.

The spirit of Theo Jörgensmann lives on in their minds and hearts; to Maurer, Dell, Ramond, and Kugel, he was a good friend, a longtime companion, and, in many ways, a spiritual father. Their response patterns, the speed of their communication, and their handling of the musical space are shaped by Theo. His playing experience and positive attitude have shaped and inspired the four musicians performing this evening. This concert is a tribute to Theo Jörgensmann, one of jazz's most original musicians.

This music seeks nothing; it does not aim to occupy territory or conquer a market. It is a wonderland of transformations within the smallest of spaces.
