60 Jahre!
Frank Gratkowski feiert seinen Geburtstag und das natürlich auch bei und mit uns im LOFT.

33 Jahre haben wir seine Karriere begleiten dürfen, er war uns ein treuer und solidarischer Wegbegleiter nicht nur durch seine zahllosen Konzerte sondern auch viele Jahre als Vorstand des die Konzerte im LOFT veranstaltenden 2ndFLOOR e.V.s.

Grund genug also, diesen Geburtstag zu feiern und dazu hat er Kolleg*innen eingeladen, mit denen er schon länger zusammen musiziert, wie Sebi Tramontana, Sebastian Müller, Leo Huhn oder Philip Zoubek, aber auch improvisierende Musiker*innen der jüngeren Generation wie Emily Wittbrodt, Maria Portugal oder Felix Hauptmann.
Denn auch das hat ihn ausgezeichnet: die immerwährende Neugier auf das inspirierende Musizieren in neuen Konstellationen.
So wird es ein abwechslungsreiches Geburtstagsfest, ganz nach dem Motto Franks werden:

60 years!
Frank Gratkowski celebrates his birthday and of course also with us at the LOFT.

We were allowed to accompany his career for the past 34 years, and he has been a loyal companion not only through his countless concerts but also for many years as a board member of the 2ndFLOOR e.V., which organizes the concerts at the LOFT.

Reason enough to celebrate this birthday, and to do so he has invited colleagues with whom he has been making music for a long time, such as Sebi Tramontana, Sebastian Müller, Leo Huhn or Philip Zoubek, but also improvising musicians of the younger generation such as Emily Wittbrodt, Maria Portugal or Felix Hauptmann.
Because that is also what has distinguished him: the everlasting curiosity for inspiring music-making in new constellations.
So it will be a varied birthday party, according to Frank’s motto:
Make music emphatically, wildly and dangerously.
