Statt des ursprünglich vorgesehenen Tashi Dorji, der aus familiären Gründen den Soundtrip leider nicht wahrnehmen kann, präsentieren die neun Kuratoren aus NRW nun mit Flo Stoffner einen spannenden jüngeren Gitarristen aus der reichhaltigen Schweizer Szene.
Stoffner arbeitete zwischen Jazz und Improvisierter Musik mit Musikern wie Marius Peyer (Unsung Songs, 2000), Gitta Kahle, Christian Weber, Lionel Friedli, Hans-Peter Pfammatter, Manuel Mengis (Into the Barn, 2004), Christoph Grab, Hilaria Kramer sowie in den Formationen Fat Son, Lauschangriff, Lila und Science Fiction Theater.
2012 legte er sein Soloalbum ... and Sorry (Veto Records) vor. Mit Paul Lovens und Rudi Mahall nahm er das Trioalbum Mein Freund der Baum (Wide Ear, 2017) auf.

Im zweiten Teil des Abends trifft er mit Georg Wissel und Carl Ludwig Hübsch, auf zwei erfahrene „Stimmen" der Kölner Improvisations–szene. Die Kombination der drei lässt ein dynamisches Trio–Set erwarten.

The originally announced live recording of the band Vließ as part of the 2ndFLOOR recording project for young musicians* in 2021 unfortunately had to be postponed, alternatively the Soundtrips present a guitarist who has been making a lot of noise lately:

Florian Stoffner has been playing for several years in a duo with Paul Lovens or in a trio with Lovens and Rudi Mahall. In addition, he works in a trio with Alfred Zimmerlin and David Meier, with the group Anna & Stoffner, with saxophonist Albert Cirera and again and again with Elgar (Hans Koch, Lionel Friedl & Flo Stoffner).
