"The Irish- Italian Connection"

Join saxophonist Ben Fitzpatrick and Italian trumpeter Cesare Mecca for an evening of original compositions and rare jazz standards in quintet formation. Fitzpatrick’s expressive saxophone and Mecca’s sweet trumpet sound create a unique musical experience, blending innovation with tradition. Ben and Cesare met at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam during their studies and became great friends and musical collaborators. Now Cesare has returned to his native Northern Italy but is making a rare appearance in Cologne that is not to be missed!
