What if paradise were not a geographical place, a transcendent idyll or a religious longing, but rather an attitude of sharing and openness?

What power lies in movement, encounter, warmth and ecstasy?

In times of climate crisis, war and authoritarian shifts, E(R)DEN seeks closeness, empathy and connection on stage, exploring touch as a political practice.

How do bodies remain open, responsive and capable of action – and how can new forms of being-together be explored?

Inspired by Octavia Butler’s *Parable of the Sower*, the choreography conjures images of community, vulnerability and transformation. Five dancers move through mist, wind and dense soundscapes, falling, holding, carrying one another. Closeness is negotiated, boundaries become visible, relationships constantly reconfigure themselves.

The ‘Garden of Eden’ appears not as a place of refuge, but as an ambivalent figure between longing and control.

At the same time, URSina Tossi plays with the word E(R)DEN – as a verb: to ground, to connect, to transform – but also as an artistic concept: E(R)DEN burrows into the layers of the earth, history and longing, searching for a different kind of ground that is soft, permeable and alive.
