"zeitguised" brings together artistic practices that explore the visual condition of the present. Rather than formulating clear-cut narratives, they paint an open picture of contemporary visual practices in which digital coding and artistic practice intertwine – fragmentary, ambiguous and in constant flux.

The exhibition presents eight contemporary works by the artists Arno Beck, Julius Brauckmann, Roman Lang, Anna Nero, Victoria Pidust, Sabrina Podemski, Denise Werth and Lars Wolter, in which digital visual logics, analogue processes and site-specific installations converge. "zeitguised" brings together voices from several generations – including those from Bonn, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Berlin – in a trans-regional dialogue.

The exhibition title encapsulates contemporary questions regarding imagery and perception. The term ‘zeitguised’ traces back to Studio ZEITGUISED, founded in 2001, which has established the synthesis of digital design, materiality and non-linear image production.
