Playful, musical, interactive: a production about order, chaos, and living together with others.

Three people, one shared room, and three very different ideas about how it should look. For some, everything needs its own designated spot. For others, it’s only really cozy when there are pillows, books, and clutter scattered about. And then there are those with their own unique systems that no one else understands. So: time to clean up! But how, exactly? What belongs where? What can go, and who gets to decide? Some things might be broken but are still far too important to just throw away. Stories and memories are tied to them.

Together with the audience, we sort, discard, hide, rediscover, and reorganize. It’s not just about clutter and kids’ rooms, but also about rules: Who decides what’s tidy? Does order have to look the same for everyone? And how do we create a space where everyone can feel comfortable?

In collaboration with six Mülheim classes from the Grundschule am Dichterviertel, the Brüder Grimm Schule, and the Realschule Stadtmitte.
