The near future... We live in a world ravaged by the climate crisis! Something ‘strange’ like an apocalypse has happened, but not quite! Nomadic communities have emerged that are referred to as parasites and are unwanted by any country.

A boy: Diyar! He is one of the storytellers of this new society. Every evening, the parasites gather around the campfire, and he tells them a story from the early days of the apocalypse with his darbuka. A story about betrayal! The early days of the climate crisis! We are in Istanbul! A great rebellion, accompanied by growing hunger and scarcity! A conservative movement that uses the crisis as an opportunity: İzan!

A ‘strange’, mysterious girl who changes Diyar's whole story: Leylâ! In times of great fires, disease, migration, bloodshed, hunger and thirst, one question becomes more important than all others: as the world we know slips from our hands, whose hand will we hold, with whom will we walk side by side?
