Jenny Wolf wurde in Kassel geboren und wuchs in Havanna (Kuba) und Köln auf. Sie studierte Modedesign an der Hochschule für Wirtschaft, Technik und Gestaltung in Pforzheim und am Instituto Superior de Diseño Industrial in Havanna. 2012 absolvierte sie erfolgreich den Masterstudiengang Bühnenbild_Szenischer Raum an der TU Berlin. Sie gewann den ersten Preis des European Fashion Award Fash 2005 der Stiftung der deutschen Bekleidungsindustrie und den Förderpreis Prix Juste-au-corp des Luzerner Theaters im Jahr 2008. Seit 2012 ist sie als freiberufliche Bühnen- und Kostümbildnerin für Opern und Schauspielproduktionen unter anderem für das Opernstudio des Opernhaus Zürich, Theater Konstanz, Luzerner Theater, Landestheater Detmold sowie für das Festival Schloss Britz in Berlin tätig.
