Fabio Palombo, geboren 1982 in Niedersachsen, begann im Alter von acht Jahren mit Klavier- und Ballettunterricht. Nach dem Abitur absolvierte er eine Ballettausbildung an der John Cranko Schule Stuttgart. Sein erstes Engagement führte ihn 2003 an die Deutsche Oper Berlin unter der Leitung von Sylviane Bayard, wo er in Choreographien von Heinz Spoerli, Youri Vámos, Angelin Preljocaj und Uwe Scholz tanzte. Ab 2004 tanzte er im Ensemble des Leipziger Balletts, aber auch solistisch in Choreographien von u.a. Uwe Scholz, George Balanchine, Mauro Bigonzetti, John Cranko, Kenneth MacMillan, Glen Tetley, Marco Goecke, Peter Schaufuss und Youri Vámos. Seit 2012 arbeitet Fabio Palombo freischaffend in Berlin und begann als Assistent die Zusammenarbeit mit Xenia Wiest. Er wirkte u.a. an dem Ballett „Quinque Viae – Dynamics of Existence“( 2013) im Berliner Berghain, „live now think later“ (2013) in der Kremlin Gala „Stars of the 21st Century“ in Moskau und „The Running System“ (2014) in der Annual Gala of the Stars in Kalifornien mit. Als künstlerischer Berater assistierte er bei der Modezeitschrift Vogue im Rahmen einer Fotostrecke für die Berlinale 2014 und arbeitete als Ballettmeister mit Sean Suozzi, Solist des New York City Ballet, für eine neue Kreation von Marco Goecke zusammen. Nachdem Fabio Palombo 2015 einen Pas de deux aus Marco Goeckes Ballett „Thin Skin“ beim Bolschoi-Ballett Moskau einstudiert hatte und als Ballettmeister des Choreographen bei der Neukreation „All Long Dem Day“ an der Staatlichen Ballettschule Berlin tätig war, folgte 2016 die Einstudierung von „Blushing“ beim Ballett des Theaters Hagen sowie eine Assistenz bei der Uraufführung von Marco Goeckes „Nijinski“ mit Gauthier Dance am Theaterhaus Stuttgart.
Fabio Palombo was born in Lower Saxony in 1982 and started piano and ballet lessons at the age of eight. After high school graduation he trained in ballet at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart. His first engagement took him to the Deutsche Oper Berlin in 2003 under the direction of Sylviane Bayard, where he danced in works choreographed by Heinz Spoerli, Youri Vámos, Angelin Preljocaj and Uwe Scholz. From 2004 he danced in the company at Leipzig Ballet, while also taking solo roles in ballets by Uwe Scholz, George Balanchine, Mauro Bigonzetti, John Cranko, Kenneth MacMillan, Glen Tetley, Marco Goecke, Peter Schaufuss, Youri Vámos and others. Since 2012 Fabio Palombo has worked freelance in Berlin and began working together with Xenia Wiest as an assistant. He has worked on the ballet “Quinque Viae – Dynamics of Existence”( 2013) at Berghain in Berlin, “live now think later” (2013) in the Kremlin gala “Stars of the 21st Century” in Moscow and “The Running System” (2014) in the Annual Gala of the Stars in California. He worked as Artistic Adviser to the fashion magazine Vogue for a photo series on the 2014 Berlinale and worked together with Sean Suozzi, a soloist with the New York City Ballet, as ballet master for a new work by Marco Goecke. After Fabio Palombo had staged a pas de deux from Marco Goecke’s ballet “Thin Skin” at the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow and worked as the choreographer’s ballet master in the new work “All Long Dem Day” at the Berlin State Ballet School in 2015, he staged “Blushing” at the Hagen Theatre Ballet and was assistant on the world premiere of Marco Goecke’s “Nijinski” with Gauthier Dance at Theaterhaus Stuttgart in 2016.
