Vanessa Peixoto Claro begann ihr Tanzstudium an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln und setzte es an der Escola Superior de Dança in Lissabon fort. Nach ihrem Abschluss 2007 tanzte sie u. a. für das Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lissabon, die Vortice Dance Company, Companhia de Dança de Almada sowie für freischaffende Choreographen. Vanessa Peixoto Claro begann ihr Tanzstudium an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln und setzte es an der Escola Superior de Dança in Lissabon fort. Nach ihrem Abschluss 2007 tanzte sie u. a. für das Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lissabon, die Vortice Dance Company, Companhia de Dança de Almada sowie für freischaffende Choreographen. Ihr wachsendes Interesse am organisatorischen Ablauf in Theaterbetrieben führte sie 2009 ans tanzhaus nrw, wo sie zunächst ein Praktikum bei Bertram Müller in der Direktion absolvierte und im Anschluss die Projekt-Koordination für den Bereich „Junges Tanzhaus“ übernahm. Seit April 2011 studiert Vanessa Peixoto Claro berufsbegleitend Kultur- und Medienmanagement (M.A.) an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg und ist seit der Spielzeit 2011/12 bei dem Ballett am Rhein für das Sekretariat der Ballettdirektion tätig.
Vanessa Peixoto Claro began her dance studies at the high school for music and dance in Köln (Cologne) and continued them at the Escola Superior de Dança in Lisbon. After taking her grade in 2007 she danced for institutions which included the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon, the Vortice Dance Company and the Companhia de Dança de Almada, and also for freelance choreographers. Her growing interest in the organizational structures of theatres took her in 2009 to tanzhaus nrw in Düsseldorf, where she first took on an internship with Bertram Müller in the administration and then undertook the co-ordination of the “Junges Tanzhaus” project. Since April 2011 Vanessa Peixoto Claro has been studying at the high school for music and theatre in Hamburg for an M.A.degree in Culture and Media Management parallel to her professional activity, and has been occupied with secretarial work for the director’s office of Ballett am Rhein as from the 2011/12 season.
